The team was first called out at 3.11pm on August 27 after North West Ambulance Service requested assistance for a man who had become stuck down an embankment at Stanley Gill in Eskdale.
“The team deployed and retrieved the male from where he was stuck,” said a Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team spokesman.
“He had injured his arm but was able to walk down to the waiting ambulance.”
The full call-out involved 14 team members and lasted two hours and 33 minutes, ending at 5.44pm.
At 5.07pm the same day, the team received reports of a mountain biker who had dislocated their shoulder on Nannycatch Road, Kinniside.
A spokesman for the rescue organisation said: “The team began investigating, but NWAS confirmed the casualty had moved to the carpark and therefore MRT attendance was not required. The team was stood down and not deployed to the scene.”
The following day, August 28, volunteers were called to Green How at 2.49pm after Cumbria Police received a report of a female walker who had aggravated an old ankle injury.
The call-out lasted four hours and 40 minutes and involved seven team members.
“The team leader spoke with the group, who were able to descend to meet team members,” said the Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team spokesman.
“She was then assisted off the hill and back to the campsite, and advised to attend hospital to have the injury checked over.”
